Event Details

Community First Fund is offering a half day seminar on state and federal contracting.  You will learn the ins and outs of how it can benefit your small business to work with the government.   The training will provide information on purchasing procedures, which agencies need what you sell, how to market your business directly to them, and where to locate bid opportunities online. A small business owner who has done business with the government will be speaking over a catered lunch about experience in government contracting. A presentation on certification as a woman or minority owned business as well as the new federal set-aside program for women owned businesses will follow lunch.


9:00-12:30 - Doing Business With the State and Federal Government

12:30-1:30 - Lunch presentation by a small business owner

1:30-2:30 - Certification Session and Information on the new Federal Set-Aside Program for Women-Owned Small Businesses
